Privacy Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026
This is my personal website, aryandhingra.me (the “Site”), run by me, Aryan Dhingra. I collect as little as possible. This policy explains what I collect, why, and what you can do about it. My separate product, AI Caretaker, has its own policy at ai-caretaker.live/privacy.
1. What I collect
Information you send me. If you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.
Technical information. Like most websites, the Site's hosting provider automatically processes basic request data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, so it can deliver the Site and keep it secure.
Your theme preference. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
The Site does not use advertising, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics.
2. How I use it
- To read and reply to your message.
- To keep the Site running, secure, and free of abuse.
3. Who else sees it
I don't sell, rent, or trade your information. A few service providers handle it on my behalf:
- Formspree delivers contact-form submissions to my inbox.
- Vercel hosts the Site and processes request data to serve it.
- Google provides my email inbox, where your messages are stored.
I may also share information if the law requires it or if it's needed to protect someone's safety.
4. How long I keep it
I keep messages for as long as they're useful for our conversation and then delete them. You can ask me to delete yours at any time.
5. Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete anything you've sent me by emailing aryan.dhingra2008@gmail.com. I'll respond within 30 days. You can clear your saved theme preference by clearing your browser's site data.
6. Links to other sites
The Site links to other websites, such as journals, LinkedIn, and GitHub. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and I'm not responsible for them.
7. Children
The Site isn't directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, email me and I'll delete it.
8. Changes
If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page. See also the Terms of Use.
